While sunk boats and crashed planes take the headline for weeks because of their wholesale purchases, road accidents don't. They take lives by the retail and their numbers may not merit newspaper headlines, but the horror with which they happen make them a local legend. Names are rarely known. But the gore of bodies and metals as they meet full-force become a tale to be discussed over and over again by grownups, who themselves often pass by those places.
That's why I avoid the road. And here are more mountain biking photos from Bukidnon. I don't think I wanna go back to Cebu just yet. But I miss all my bike buddies there, though.
